    Academic Planner Pro

Academic Planner Pro is an AI study tool designed for undergraduate college students managing multiple courses while balancing responsibilities such as jobs, extracurriculars, and exams. The problem our artifact addresses is that students often struggle to prioritize and organize coursework because important information like due dates, assignment difficulty, workload, and grading weight is scattered across Canvas, syllabi, emails, and personal notes, making it difficult to know what to work on first.

Our artifact solves this problem through a conversational AI interface that organizes assignments into a centralized view and provides personalized recommendations in response to questions such as “What should I work on tonight?” or “What’s due this week?” The system analyzes deadlines, workload, urgency, and grade impact to generate prioritized task lists, workload insights, and study suggestions that help students make better time management decisions.

What makes our artifact unique is that it goes beyond a basic planner or to do list by acting as a decision-making assistant that explains why certain tasks should be prioritized, adapts to changing workloads, and mimics the way students naturally ask peers for academic guidance, creating a more personalized and supportive planning experience.

    Artifact Instructions:

Upload your assignments or syllabus information: add your Canvas agenda PDF, syllabus, or assignment details so taht the AI tool can organize your coursework.

    Ask questions naturally:
    Use simple questions like:
    What's due this week?
    What should I do tonight?
How should I study for this exam?
Am I behind in any class?
Review your personalized recommendations: The AI will create:
    Prioritized task lists
    Weekly workload summaries
    Suggested study plans
Explanations for why tasks are ranked a certain way
Follow up for more help: you can continue the conversation by asking:
    How long will this take?
Can you help me make a schedule?
    What should I start first?
Use the planner regularly for updates: As assignments change or new deadlines are added, the AI updates recommendations to help you stay organized and avoid last-minute stress.

    Additional Tips:
Be specific when asking questions: The more detail you provide, the better the recommendations. Example: “I have 2 hours tonight and a biology quiz tomorrow, what should I focus on?”
Upload updated course information regularly: Adding new assignments or updated schedules helps the AI generate accurate priorities and workload recommendations.
Use the AI for planning, not just reminders: The tool works best when asking for guidance like:
When should I start this project?
What can I finish before work tonight?
    Which assignment is most important?
Review workload warnings carefully: The planner may highlight heavy workload days, so you can begin larger assignments earlier.
Remember that recommendations are suggestions: The AI prioritizes tasks based on deadlines, workload, and importance, but you can adjust plans based on your own schedule and study habits.
Best experience for students with a lot on their plate: The tool is designed for students balancing several courses, jobs, or extracurricular activities who need help organizing and prioritizing coursework.

    Assignment Planner Pro

    Description of the video:

    College students
often struggle to keep track of assignments,
    deadlines, and study times across
multiple classes. Study Planner AI helps
    simplify that process by organizing
    coursework and building personalized study
    schedules automatically. The experience begins
like a conversation. The student can ask
what they should work on, and the
AI starts learning about their workload
    and schedule. The student uploads
    their Canvas calendar export directly
into the planner. The AI then automatically
    scans assignments, deadlines, and
upcoming coursework. For generating a study
plan, the AI asks a few quick questions
to better understand the student's habits
    and preferences. These questions help
    the AI personalize the schedule
    instead of creating a one-size-fits
    -all calendar. Using the uploaded
    assignments and the student's
    responses, Student Planner AI
    automatically creates a personalized
    academic schedule. The calendar
    organizes coursework into manageable
    study sessions and helps students
clearly see what they should focus on
throughout the week. The schedule is
also adjustable. If the AI suggests
    something that the student doesn't
like or a schedule changes, they can
easily move, edit, or reorganize study
    blocks themselves. The student can
    then export their personalized
calendar in different time zones for
    compatibility across platforms and
    devices. Finally, the student uploads
    the generated calendar directly
into Outlook for a cleaner and more
    familiar calendar view. StudiPlanner AI
    combines assignment tracking,
    personalization, and scheduling into one
centralized tool designed to help college
    students stay organized and reduce
    academic stress.
