What to Expect

The Learning Technologies team and Faculty Fellows will host three learning tracks. Each track is a guided, hands-on professional learning experience. You'll join a dedicated track cohort for a focused, immersive day of building.

Track 1: The Assignment Makeover Studio

  • Ideal for faculty who want: immediate course improvements, better student work, and practical takeaways
  • Topics: GenAI, active learning, feedback and rubrics, accessibility and UDL
  • Takeaway: Leave with an upgraded assignment or assessment that’s clear, engaging, and authentically evaluates student learning.

Track 2: Evidence, Ethics, and Student Trust Lab

  • Ideal for faculty who want: clarity around academic integrity, fair assessment, and data-informed improvements
  • Topics: GenAI policy, active learning, assessment, learning analytics
  • Takeaway: Leave with transparent, defensible approaches to teaching, assessment, and student success—especially in a rapidly changing tech landscape.

Track 3: Multimodal Engagement & Learning Design Playground

  • Ideal for faculty who want: more engagement, stronger student communication, and modern learning experiences that still align with outcomes
  • Topics: GenAI for teaching, active learning, student AI literacy, ethics
  • Takeaway: Leave with an engagement-ready activity and a student creation workflow that makes learning visible—without adding chaos.
