Hello everyone,
The IU eTexts program recently celebrated a significant milestone: Students have saved $100 million thanks to faculty choosing IU eTexts.
That said, IU eTexts are about so much more than cost savings. For instructors, selecting an IU eText provides:
Added flexibility for students –– digital texts can be viewed on multiple devices, and the e–reader offers accessibility features like a text to speech function for listening to a text.
Purchase protections like bursar billing (so students can use financial aid for payment) and returns that last a few weeks into the semester
Publisher courseware and learning tools, ranging from problem sets and adaptive learning tools to games and simulations
Open Educational Resources (OER) from IU Libraries and elsewhere, delivered via the Engage 2.0 e–reader (if licensing permits)
The IU eTexts order tool just opened for spring and fall orders. Learn more about IU eTexts and placing an order by registering for one of the February webinars (details below).
And, as always, feel free to reach out to the IU eTexts team if you have questions or need assistance.
